Chemical nature:
White to yellowish-white hard solid, occasionally shiny crystalline solid, or white to yellowish-white powder. The relative density is 0.8739 (80°C), the melting point is 54.5°C, the boiling point is 326.2°C, and the refractive index (nD60) is 1.4310. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether and chloroform. Nutmeg fat contains about 70% to 80%, and other coconut oil, palm kernel oil, etc. also contain it.
Application:
