What is Microcrystalline Cellulose?

Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is a product of natural cellulose that is acid hydrolyzed to the ultimate degree of polymerization. Its color is white or nearly white, odorless and tasteless. The particle size is generally about 2 to 80 μm. It has low density and good modulus.
