Carbazole is a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound and is one of the most economical components of coal tar. 90% of the world’s carbazole is obtained from coal tar. Oxazole can be used to produce dyes, pigments, photoconductors, Photosensitive materials, special inks, etc., the pigments produced by it are permanent violet RL, widely used in the coloring of automotive topcoats and high temperature resistant plastics, and have the advantages of high temperature resistance and ultraviolet light resistance. The dyes produced by the dye-reduced blue RNX and Haichanglan have excellent fastness indexes, especially the chlorine fastness. The blue varieties include carbazole IDM, carbazole LR, carbazole LB and carbazole L3B. The black variety has carbazole black D. It also produces carbazole bisoxazine violet, a blue-violet pigment used in coatings, printing inks, carbon paper, and the like. Carbazole is used to produce sulfurized reduction blue RNX, direct fast blue FFRL, FFGL and the like. It can be used to make leather, N-vinylcarbazole plastic, pesticide insecticide tetranitrocarbazole, chlorinated carbazole, and can also be used for the manufacture of UV-sensitive photo-dried wafers.
