Isotonitazene CAS 14188-81-9

Isotonitazene, also known as “ISO”, is an effective synthetic opioid. It was first used as an analgesic drug decades ago, just like many other synthetic opioids. The drug comes from a powerful opioid drug called etonitazine, which not only has the characteristics of relieving pain, but also has the “height” sought by users. Although it has existed for many years, the World Health Organization has never approved its listing because it has the risk of side effects such as addiction and respiratory failure, which are the side effects of many opioid painkillers. But this did not stop the spread of the designed drug.

Although synthetic opioids such as fentanyl have become popular in the United States, isotonitazene still has a unique problem because it has not been officially added to the U.S. drug enforcement agency (DEA) list of controlled substances. This makes it more difficult to track cases of isotonitazene overdose because it does not appear in most screenings.

Although it has not been approved for legal medical use worldwide, DEA has never banned the use of isotonitazene. This means that the drug is easier to produce and sell in neighbouring countries and even the United States. Up to now, DEA and the Ministry of justice have announced that isotonitazene will be placed as schedule I drugs for emergency and temporary placement. This means that it has been listed as one of the substances most likely to lead to abuse.
